The museum is open
The Teseum is situated in the historic setting of the heritage site of the Basilica of Our Lady. The reception of the Teseum is situated in the former Chapter Room, a room where the monks of the chapter met.
The Basilica is one of the finest Gothic religious buildings in Belgium. The basilica can be admired from far away in the Haspengouw landscape. A visit to the interior of the church is definitely worth the effort.
UNESCO included the tower on the list of 56 belfries in Belgium and the north of France that have been on the List of World Heritage since 1999.
